How do I open an account with Prospera Financial Planning?
Opening an account is simple. Click "Register" in the top navigation, complete the online application, verify your identity, and fund your account. The process typically takes under 10 minutes.
What documents do I need to open an account?
You will need a government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID card), proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months), and your tax identification number.
What is the minimum deposit?
The minimum deposit to open a MICRO account is €250. Higher account tiers require larger minimum deposits, ranging from €1,000 (Standard) to €250,000+ (Elite). Full details are available on the Accounts page.
How long does account verification take?
Most accounts are verified within 24 hours. In some cases where additional documentation is required, verification may take up to 3 business days. Our compliance team will contact you if anything additional is needed.

What investment products are available?
We offer access to stocks, ETFs, bonds, options, IPOs, and professionally managed portfolios. You can trade across 25+ global exchanges including NYSE, NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange, Euronext, Deutsche Börse, and major Asian markets.
Can I invest in companies listed outside the UK?
Yes. Our platform provides access to US, European, and Asian markets from one account. You can invest in companies listed on all major global exchanges without needing separate accounts.
Are fractional shares available?
Yes, fractional shares are available on selected major US-listed equities, allowing you to invest in high-price stocks with smaller capital amounts.
What currencies can I hold and trade in?
You can hold balances in over 20 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, and AUD. Our platform handles currency conversion automatically when trading in foreign markets.

Are there account maintenance fees?

Managed portfolio fees are charged as an annual percentage of assets under management, with no performance fees. The exact rate depends on your account tier and portfolio size.
Security & Protection
How are client funds protected?
Client funds are held in fully segregated accounts, completely separate from Prospera Financial Planning's operating accounts. This means your money is protected regardless of the firm's financial position.
What security measures protect my account?
We use 256-bit SSL encryption, two-factor authentication, real-time fraud monitoring, IP-based access controls, and automated suspicious activity detection to protect your account.
Is my personal data secure?

Account Management
How do I deposit funds?
Deposits can be made via bank transfer (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments), debit card, or other supported payment methods. Deposits are typically credited within 1 business day.
How do I withdraw funds?
Withdrawal requests are processed within 1-3 business days. Funds are returned to the originating bank account or payment method used for deposit.
Can I have multiple accounts?
Clients may hold one individual account. However, corporate accounts and joint accounts are available for eligible clients. Contact our support team for more information.
How do I upgrade my account tier?
To upgrade your account, simply increase your account balance to meet the minimum deposit requirement for the next tier. Features are unlocked automatically once the balance threshold is reached.
